After our initial introductory chat, if you think you would like to work with me, I will take some details from you and put together a sample website page which you will be able to view as a screen shot.

This will give you the opportunity to 'try before you buy'.

This sample will, of course, be quite basic (and may be nothing like your finished design!) but it will give you an idea of how I work and what sort of things I can come up with. All at no risk to you!

If you choose to continue I will work to develop a style and format that you are happy with, in principle. At this stage we will have an Agreement which will provide you with details on what it is you are paying for. I will then request a deposit of 50% of the Basic Plan rate in order to proceed with your project.

The website design and development industry is flooded with buzz words and acronyms. They can be intimidating and, if you are not that way inclined, just a little boring! I would much rather show you what you can have on your website that will be functional as well as attractive! So I promise plain talk only!

If there is something that you don't understand you can call me. No question is too embarrassing!

Apart from advertising and word of mouth your Clients will come to you through search engines and links from other sites. Getting recognised by the major search engines, such as Google, is not automatic! There are a few hoops to jump through first. As part of the Basic Plan service I will create a Sitemap for your website and submit it to Google. I will also register your site with Google and if you would like to see a monthly breakdown of the traffic to your site I can set up Google Analytics. This is something that I include within your package - I DO NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR THIS!!

To boost your presence on the web It helps to have search engine friendly content within your pages. Any advice I can give you on this is all included within your package. I can point you in the direction of Professional Copywriters if necessary.

As your business grows and changes your site may need to grow and change to. There is nothing worse than reading through a website that is clearly out of date, whether it is links that no longer work or news updates that have not been updated for a year!

I can continue to make changes for you as and when required. See Pricing for my hourly rate.

What you see is what you get. There are no hidden fees or complications.

If you want to make updates yourself I can even set up certain areas of your website with on-line editing functionality. This would be useful for News/Updates/Events pages. You will be able log in with your password and make changes as and when you need to!
