When you fill out my contact form, or any enquiry form, on this website, I collect your email address and any other contact information that you provide.

My website is secure. You can see this as it has https: and a padlock in the browser address bar. This means the connection from your computer to my website is secure, and all information passed over the network is encrypted with SHA-2, 256-bit cryptography. The information you provide to me when filling out a form is transferred from your computer to my website server and then to my local email via SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol). All information is protected by SSL.

Information that you provide is not stored on the website server, or in any database.

The contact information that you provide i.e. your name, email address, and telephone number, is used to help me get back to you, via the email or telephone number that you provide, to answer your enquiry.

My website services are aimed at adults over the age of 16.

You can request to see any data that I hold at any time. Any request will be responded to within 30 days.

You have the right to ask for any personal data that I hold on your to be deleted. Unless there is a reason why that data is needed - for example, to allow me to fulfil a service that I am currently providing to you, your data will be erased on request.

All of my computer hard drives are encrypted, fire-walled and password protected. I adopt appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of any information that I may hold about the service I provide for you.

The hosting servers that I use are UK based, and GDPR compliant. The network security is provided by Juniper and Cisco industry-standard firewalls. The premises are secured by 3m perimeter fencing, 25+ CCTV cameras, 24x7 personnel and electronic access control systems.

I regard your personal information is exactly that, personal, and I do not share, rent or sell your details to any third party.

Payments & Invoicing
I do not store personal financial information. Payments that you make to me, including deposits, final payments and hosting are processed securely, online, either via Paypal or Stripe. Both are 3rd party processors and each have their own Privacy Policy which you can view here - Paypal* Stripe*

For some clients I use ZOHO invoicing to manage my estimates and invoices, and to set up Client Portals when required. ZOHO is GDPR compliant and you can read about their privacy policy here*.

Records of invoices are kept for accounting purposes for as long as legally required afterwhich they are securely destroyed,

Google Analytics
Like many websites, I use Google Analytics to help me understand how visitors interact with my site. The analytics can show me how many visitors I have to my site each day, and which pages are visited the most frequently. This helps me to understand whether the information I am making available on the web is useful to my visitor.

Google Analytics collects non-personal identification information about visitors whenever they interact with this website such as browser name, operating system, and general region. None of this information reveals your personal identity to me.

Google Analytics also records your IP address. All IP addresses, gathered from this website are anonymised, to comply with the European GDPR. This means your full IP address is not recorded.

Live Chat
I sometimes use a Live Chat feature to help communicate with my clients and potential clients. Live Chat widgets are 3rd party and have there own Privacy Policy. My preferred Live Chat is provided by TawkTo. TawkTo are GDPR compliant and you can read their Privacy Policy here*.

A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded onto your computer, and it helps the website to remember you while you are actively on it, or when you return at a later date.

You can delete your cookies at any time from within your browser settings.
